Personnel and Project Developments

Staff and employee professional development is a high priority for all these healthcare and educational organizations linked to St Elizabeth Hospital Society.

Pakistan is a “low” ranked 164 out of 193 countries in the Global Human Development Index 2024 of the United Nations Development Program which is scored on accessibility to healthcare, infant mortality, illiteracy rates, human capacity development, and access to the workforce. St. Elizabeth Hospital Society’s commitment to professional development is a major positive response to these factors in Pakistan.

St Elizabeth uses the resources of the Pakistan Institute of Management Karachi and the Sardar Yasin Professional Development Centre at the University of Karachi. The results can be seen in the competent management of St Elizabeth Hospital and its Mobile Medical Outreach Programme and Home-Based Palliative Care, St Elizabeth School of Midwifery, the Catholic Centre of Academic Excellence and the Catholic Youth Development Centre.
